Chapter 16: A Huge Surprise

Normal POV

.:1 Week Later:.

After a few weeks of traveling around the world, basically to save it from the evil Mephiles, their mission was complete; although they are still on the watch for Mephiles. They are now currently heading back to Mobius.

After they took their love to the next level, Amy has never been happier, which is also the same thing for Sonic. Their love for each other grows each day, and it will never die…

A lot of the team couples spends a lot of time together, especially Sonic and Amy. Although they’ve been in the lookout, they found the time to spend with each other.

*sigh* “He’s so perfect…” Amy said in a love trance.

“I can't believe you guys did ‘it’!” Tikal said, even though the girls knew this for a week.

“Yeah, we still can't!” Blaze added.

“Well… We both wanted to do it…” Amy said while she looked down, blushing hard.

Then, all of sudden, Amy felt an unexpected twist in her stomach. She covered her mouth and immediately went to the bathroom. She started vomiting. The girls started to get concerned.

“Amy!” Cosmo screamed, “Are you okay?”

“I...I’m fine, I think,” Amy answered when she finished and flushed the toilet.

“Well, okay…” Cream said.

After five sets of dates, a few more vomitings from Amy, and a sun setting later, it was now nighttime. As usual, when the boys were asleep, the girls snuck out of the house and went to their secret spot. They were in deep thought and disappeared to their own royal world.

They opened their eyes and they were now in front of the queen’s palace.

“It's been a long time since we've been here,” Rouge said.

“Agreed,” Amy added while she and the rest of the girls nodded.

They went in, greeted the guards and went to the throne room. There she was, Queen Cordelia, waiting for them.

“Hello princesses,” she greeted kindly, “long time no see.”

All 6 princesses smiled and bowed, “Greetings, your majesty.”

“Has the mission been a success?” The Queen asked.

“Yes, truly,” Cream answered.

“Wonderful!”

“But we must see the current process of Mephiles,” Cosmo added.

“Oh yes we need to! Let's go to the technology room.”

The girls nodded and followed the queen. The queen approached to a computer and started typing some details, then the information came up.

“Well, according to this,” Cordelia, “the estimate of the big attack is still in 7 years, and it seems that Mephiles is constructing something huge to destroy the earth!”

Everyone gasped and their eyes widened. While Cordelia was still searching for info and the girls were watching, Amy once again felt sick. She ran out of the room and into the bathroom. The others heard her and became confused as to where Amy went.

Amy vomited again, and this time it was so bad. She was throwing up for almost 10 minutes. After that, she calmed down, but she was getting concerned for herself. She sat down on the floor, gritting her teeth, and gripping the wall handles tightly.

‘Could it be..?’ Amy thought to herself, ‘could it be that I'm…’ She trailed off her thoughts as she touched her stomach.

A little bit later, she came out of the bathroom, not expecting to see the others standing there, waiting.

“Amy, I think something is wrong with you,” Rouge said.

“You think?” Amy asked.

“I’d say so,” Tikal added.

“Amy,” Cordelia asked, “did you throw up?”

“Yes I did,” Amy answered.

“How long were you throwing up?”

“All day…”

After a long pause, Cordelia spoke up.

“We need to take you to the doctor, cause I want to know if I'm right about this.”

“About what?” Cream asked.

“I can’t say…”

Cordelia left the room, and the princesses followed. They went to the doctor’s room, which was on a different floor in the palace.

“Hello Doctor,” Cordelia greeted, “We need a checkup for the Princess of the Pink Rose.”

“Yes, your majesty,” the doctor said, “Princess Amy, follow me.”

Amy nodded and followed the doctor. She sat on a stool and waited. Then, the doctor showed up.

“Hello Princess Amy,” the same doctor said, “it’s nice to see you.”

“It’s nice to see you too Doctor,” Amy answered with a smile.

“Okay, so what’s the problem?”

“Well, I’ve been vomiting a lot today.”

“Okay, any morning sickness?”

“Well, just happened once yesterday.”

“Any cravings for sweets?”

“No… At least not yet..”

As the doctor writes these notes down, she had one idea to this, but she wants to make sure she's right.

“Well, I’m thinking of a thought here because of those symptoms, but I need to know more from these tests. We’re going to see some tests from you.”

“Okay,” Amy said, “let’s get started.”

The doctor made Amy do some tests (you know what those tests are). She was then waited outside while the other doctors examined. About an hour later, Amy’s doctor came back in.

“Alright Princess Amy,” she said, “thank you for your patience, and we have found a result to this solution.”

“What is it? What happened to me?” Amy asked desperately.

The doctor looked and smiled, “Congratulations Princess Amy, you’re pregnant…”

Amy’s eyes widened and she gasped, “Pregnant?!” she thought.

But to hide her reaction, she looked up and smiled, “Thank you Doctor, for helping me…”

“You’re welcome Princess, anytime,” the doctor answered with a smile.

Amy came out of the room with full of shame. She approached to the others.

“What happened?!” They all asked in disbelief.

Amy looked down, then high, then took a deep breath and said…

“I’m pregnant…"
